Since I posted the thread  kb3055999, kb3068708, kb3061421 and kb3061468: they "refuse" to install (correctly). Should I hide them all?, the "Download-Windows-10" icon vanished from my system's task bar.  Should I re-run some GWX*.exe (the GWX folder is still there)? Or does it mean my system's hardware has been disapproved for Windows 10 requirements?

When will I have the "Download-Windows-10" icon back to my task bar? I cannot fix KB3055999 and others, myself.

Never mind that icon. Whether you are "registered" or not, all Win 8.1 users will be notified of the free upgrade come July 29th.

Or

Go to your Windows Update and check for updates.
You need KB3035583 installed. Once installed you will see the icon at your system tray.

The KB3035583 is installed in my laptop. but not appears the icon in the task bar. How I know is it correctly installed ?

mine vanished after I input my email address. I have gwx files all over my tablet but I don't know enough to open them and try to start the applications.  I can't confirm I am even registered. micrososft shouldve made this update easier for their customers.
